Dr. Steven Dugoni has been in private practice of orthodontics since 1981. The Dugoni orthodontic practice started in 1965 with his father Dr. Arthur Dugoni. Dr. Steven Dugoni is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in psychology. He received his dental degree from Tufts University in Boston and his masters degree in orthodontics at the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco. The two additional years of training required for a masters degree provided Dr. Dugoni with his level of expertise in orthodontics. He has been an associate clinical professor at the University of the Pacific for over 20 years teaching one day a week in the early treatment department for young children.

Dr. Dugoni is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the San Mateo County Dental Society in which he served as President. Dr. Dugoni is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists. He is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Dental Honor Society. He has published numerous articles in dental journals and has lectured locally and nationally on orthodontic care. Dr. Dugoni also served a president of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He belongs to the Peninsula Orthodontic Study Club including 12 excellent orthodontists from California and Nevada and they meet quarterly to share knowledge about orthodontic treatment

Dr. Dugoni and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Emily and Patrick. Patrick is a senior in high school. Emily is a senior at Tufts University in Boston. In Dr. Dugoni’s free time he loves to play golf with his father and his son.
